Bodrum's padel scene is unmistakably seasonal and unmistakably stylish. The peninsula's 11 listed courts split between luxury hotels such as Maxx Royal Bodrum, Lujo Hotel and Vogue Hotel Supreme, and independent clubs like Nano Padel Club in Türkbükü, ACRÈ Padel and TENİS & PADEL ARENA in Müskebi. Play here is a summer social ritual as much as a sport.
Venues follow the peninsula's geography: the Bodrum town side, the Türkbükü-Göltürkbükü strip in the north, and quieter stretches toward Yahşi and Bitez on the south shore. The core season runs May through October, when hotels and beach clubs are at full strength; winter play is limited to a handful of venues.
In high summer, book evening slots after 6 pm, when the heat drops and the social crowd arrives. If you visit between November and April, call ahead: many hotel courts only reopen in May.
Padel has taken off in Turkey over the past few years. What began in a handful of Istanbul gyms is now a nationwide sport, with courts ranging from the Aegean and Mediterranean coasts to Anatolia's largest cities.
Below you'll find every city with listed padel courts. Start with the biggest scenes, Istanbul, Antalya and Izmir, or head for the holiday destinations where you can play between the beach and brunch: Belek, Cesme, Bodrum and Alanya.
